Yard Operative (Permanent)

We are now looking to recruit a Yard Operative to join our team in Perth, working 47.5 hours a week, Monday to Sunday.

The Role:

Joining our team as a Yard Operative, you will manually sort and separate waste types into various streams, operate static and mobile plant and generally assist in the operations of the site, as directed by the Yard Team Leader or Supervisor, following best practice.

The Yard Operative will also assist drivers with the safe loading and unloading of recyclable waste product to maximise profitability and efficiency in accordance to instructions from the Traffic Office.

The ideal Yard Operative:

• Experience in recycling or waste management environment would be beneficial
• Thorough knowledge of current legislation of LGV vehicles
• Ability to follow and carry out instructions and requests from management with accuracy and effectiveness
• Excellent communication skills
