What will you be doing?

At Freedom Finance, data is key to our decision making. As the Head of Digital Analysis and eCommerce Optimisation, you will provide expert functional and technical capability, ensuring that our digital solutions and journeys are always optimised to meet both the customer and business needs. Head of Digital Analysis and eCommerce Optimisation responsibilities will include:

  • Derive insights from analytics and revenue figures, funnel analysis, drop-off, traffic patterns and bounce rates to define and mandate improvement actions required to optimize conversion in our own brand and partner journeys
  • Own KPI and governance on Digital Trading performance
  • Drive our A/B testing program to continuously improve conversion funnel and make data driven decision based on different tests and insights.
  • Cross functional collaboration with Product, UX design, Business Analysts and Developers. Whilst maintaining relationships with the wider Senior Management Team for continual development. 
  • Interpretation of our vast data to better understand customers behaviour and motivations. 
  • Being hypothesis led with the confidence to interpret the ‘so what’ of both exploratory data analysis and experimentation results, a curiosity to ensure we’re always learning in everything we do. 
  • A drive and desire to learn more and solve the pain points our users face on site(s), identifying areas for conversion optimisation whilst reaching the balance of profitable business decisions. 
  • Influential in decision making, working alongside Product Owners to shape strategy and develop roadmaps. 
  • Thrive to challenge yourself and those around you to deliver the best, personalised, customer journey. 
  • Influencing decision making for a wide variety of stakeholders, both within the department or external to freedom with our affiliate partners and lenders.

What do you need?

The role is broad, requiring a logical and curious mind. A business focus to find new opportunities to improve CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation) is essential. You will have an essential role in a key strategic priority of refining our current ecommerce platform, by iteratively driving customer journey changes.

The successful Head of Digital Analysis and eCommerce Optimisation will have eCommerce expertise and excellent knowledge in conversion optimisation and funnel improvement in eCommerce platforms. Experience in A/B Testing design and an understanding of analytics tools like heatmaps/clickmaps, SEO tracking, and conversion funnels is essential.
