Production Planning Assistant (Permanent)
Morson International are currently looking to recruit a Production Planning Assistant to join our manufacturing client based in the Sheffield area.
Within this role, you will support the production planner in all daily processes, plans and targets. Monitoring and progressing work orders in all areas of the facility to meet daily resources.
This is an exciting new position that would suit someone with foundation level experience who is driven and eager to gain valuable working experience and broaden their career. Previous experience within a production environment would be advantageous however not essential
Responsibilities:
Expedite all areas to achieve resource plans ensuring work orders have progressed.
Working alongside the production planner to ensure production work flow and sales coordinators to ensure critical customer requirements are prioritised.
Progress chase critical parts from launch to completion through all areas reporting deviations to the planning team.
Targeting minimum delay on all works orders
Skills, Experience and Qualification:
Experience in a production environment would be beneficial
Computer literate. Excel and Microsoft Office
Demonstrate a good level of numeracy and literacy
Demonstrate the ability to follow detailed instructions.
