The Quality Manager purpose:

• To actively support the Winsford Management Team & Business on quality issues relating to processes or products manufactured in the Winsford Plant (1190).
• To maintain & improve standards of quality in the Winsford Plant (1190).
• Ensure product compliance through monitoring and testing.
• Management of plant & laboratory calibrations.
• To manage and review plant hygiene monitoring activity and audits.
• Managing, planning and maintaining audits & management reviews.
• To manage change control.

The ideal Quality Manager:

• Weight Control Legislation (EU Average Weight).
• Statistical Process Control.
• Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA)
• Problem Solving Techniques: 8D, A3, Brainstorming, Ishikawa (Cause & Effect), 5 Whys etc.
• SAP, Excel, Word, & Powerpoint.
• Strong interpersonal skills, flexible, decisive, good organisation & planning skills.
• Self-assured and able to challenge working methods.
