Their expertise lies in the implementation of E2E delivery services in all sectors of the telecommunications industry, specialising in mobile, fixed and optical networks. Drawing on extensive experience and knowledge in large scale multivendor environments, to deliver high quality projects, and solutions that satisfy their customers and importantly their end user.

Job Purpose:

Pro-actively analyse recruitment needs and skills gaps within the business. Responsible for the full end to end recruitment life cycle including designing and advertising roles, sourcing candidates, managing the interview, assessment and selection process. Develop a partnership approach with managers to ensure operational objectives are met through robust recruitment and continuous improvement.

Key tasks:

  • Liaising with key business stakeholders to establish hiring requirements and support on defining and implementing sourcing methodology to find the best candidates in the most cost and time effective way
  • Define appropriate campaigns to build acquisition strategy to pipeline top talent
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to ensure pre-determined SLA's are met and the broader recruitment strategy is delivered consistently, on-time and within budget
  • Monitor headcount execution plan and partner with business on headcount planning
  • Proactively lead updates on all open positions to the business and include feedback on talent movement, market trends and challenges
  • Create a compelling candidate journey and experience, contributing to improving the employer brand
  • Educate and up-skill Managers to promote best practice around the hiring process
  • Attend networking events, engaging via social media platforms, and organising events
  • Be actively involved in interviews with managers and design and deliver training courses to up-skill management with interview questions and assessment centres etc.
  • Manage recruitment statistics and create reports
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities across recruitment processes and procedures
  • Managing the full end to end recruitment cycle in a fast paced environment, ensuring vacancies are advertised effectively using appropriate job boards and liaising with agencies
  • Manage candidate applications in a timely and accurate manner, keeping them informed on the process of their application ensuring a positive candidate experience
  • Creation of job descriptions and job adverts, ensuring current templates are in place across the business and supporting line managers in this task
  • Support the HR team in the facilitation and evidence gathering for internal and external audits
  • Undertakes any other reasonable duties from time to time allocated to the role

The Candidate:

  • A track record of success as a Recruitment/Talent Acquisition Specialist in a fast paced business environment
  • Experience of driving a direct sourcing approach using a variety of channels to attract candidates and constantly monitor and improve the candidate experience
  • Proven experience of handling a high volume recruitment pipeline
  • Experience designing and executing social media, and employment branding strategies
  • Adept with using a variety of recruiting technologies as a talent sourcing tool
  • Innovative, demonstrated experience applying leading recruiting practices, keeping up with market trends
  • An enthusiastic individual, strong interpersonal, communication and consulting skills with the ability to develop trusted relationships at all levels, with an enthusiastic and positive approach
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • CIPD qualification is preferred but not essential
