Lead Purchaser - Raw Materials & Ingredients (Permanent)
I am currently working with a successful fmcg and food company is looking for an experienced raw materials procurement professional to join their team. With over a century of innovation, they offer a wide range of products, mainly to the construction and insudtrial industry, and cover the paint & coatings sector and architectural businesses. They have 8,000 employees in over 28 countries and are known globally for providing fantastic customer service and products of a high quality.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and managing the procurement department
- Sourcing for new suppliers
- Strategic development and working on effective cost saving strategies
- Development of the team and being in charge of the most important category
- Process Improvement
To be successful candidate must have:
- 3+ years strategical purchasing experience
- Experience working in the food & beverage ingredients
- Strategic Sourcing of Raw Materials
- Fluent in German & English
