Helston Garages Group (Volvo division Exeter) currently have a vacancy for a Call Centre Manager to be part of a new venture and co-ordinate a newly created team of 3.

What will the role include?

Facilitating a 5 star customer experience on behalf of our Volvo brand division. Ensuring that your team of 3 Call Centre Operatives acknowledge incoming telephone and online enquiries in a most timely manner and respond accordingly to queries. Co-ordinating and motivating the Call Operatives to make sufficient and targeted outbound telephone calls to make service and/or sales appointments effectively and professionally ensuring that customers receive a professional service throughout. Maintaining Call Centre requirements and standards at all times. Some enquiries may need a direct sales approach in order to resolve them and you should be capable of coaching your team members in all aspects of customer service and relevant sales techniques.  The team is all about creating a positive and premium first impression. We are looking for a team player who will take a keen interest in our Volvo customers ensuring that their needs are met consistently. As a departmental Manager, a firm and courteous approach is essential as are excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with a strong organisational ability, articulacy, above average listening ability and a solid administration skillset.   

Could this be the role for me?

As the first point of contact for many of our customers we are looking for a friendly and outgoing call centre manager who understands what it takes to deliver outstanding levels of customer care whilst creating a positive first impression of the business. You should be a naturally personable and vibrant character who is able to build rapports quickly with our customers during telephone conversations, via the chat line and via electronic communications. You will be presentable, reliable, punctual and willing to go the extra mile to support and assist. Previous Management or Supervisory experience in telesales, call centre and/or front of house arenas along with a superb telephone manner will be pre-requisite. You will obviously be target driven and passionate about achieving your KPI’s and meeting budget. Prior experience in this position will be advantageous as a new department is being created.
