Commercial Manager-Logistic Services, Permanent or Contract , London
Department: Contracts and Procurement Department(CPD)
Reporting to: Contracts and Procurement Department Director

Job responsibilities:

Independently responsible for the following work:

1. To draft, evaluate, negotiate and execute contracts
2. To negotiate with supplier to get the best deal
3. Lead all procurement activities and responsible for prepare related procurement report.
4. Manage record keeping for related contract-related correspondence and documentation
5. Working with commercial team to delivery contract-related issue resolution, both internally and externally
6. To monitor and complete contract close-out, extension or renewal, as appropriate
7. Communicate contract-related information to all internal stakeholders
8. To manage the procurement processes and systems and provide procurement advice.
9. To manage the internal price and commercial database in order the relate procurement information could share with internal team.
10. To develop new potential supplier to increase the competitiveness
11. To support for the Director of Contracts and Procurement Development with respect to other tasks assigned

Knowledge, skills and attributes:

To be minimally qualified for this role, a candidate must have:

1. Bachelor degree of science, engineering or economics or business with professional knowledge on procurement in engineering or constructions or technical services
2. Minimum of 5 years plus progressive responsibility with quantifiable results in contract negotiation, administration and/or management
3. Familiar with the NEC 3 and FIDC contracts
4. Experience of logistics services, especially local logistic services, rate, service model, etc.
5. Experience of contract management including the ability to interpret and negotiate a contract effectively
6. Ability to manage and interpret financial information
7. Robust skills in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
8. High level English skills with excellent reading and written skills
9. Ability to produce accurate and professional documents, proposals and reports.

The ideal candidate will have either construction/nuclear industry background
