Main role: You will be responsible for in increasing the number of leads/appointments/quotations within the company and make a measurable sales contribution towards the overall growth and profitability. You will speak to customers in order to secure appointments for the sales team.
Responsabilties
- Calling prospect procurement managers to sell services
- Qualify potential contacts interest
- Booking appointments and arranging face to face meetings with between contacts and the sales team
- Building own pipeline of future sales opportunities through maintaining regular contact with contacts who are not ready to proceed to the next stage
- Management of sales database and sales team member diaries
- Achieving various KPIs in line with the company standards
- Other ad hoc duties as and when required
What you'll need?
- Proven experience as telesales, appointment making or sales roles
- Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone
- Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection
- Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
- Knowledge of sales methodology
- Microsoft office skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks at any given time
- Detail oriented
