Purchase Ledger Clerk (Permanent)

Perrys Group are seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk based at our Regional accounts office in Chesterfield which covers 7 locations in the East Midlands.  Perrys is an award winning leading automotive retailer with a turnover in excess of £700m. The Ideal Purchase Ledger Clerk

The ideal candidate for the role will ideally have previous Purchase Ledger experience with knowledge of Kerridge/ Drive Vehicle Management Systems being an advantage and possess a full UK driving license. 

The candidate should have a good attention to deal; accurate data input ability; excellent verbal and written communication skills and telephone manner.

Key responsibilities of the Purchase Ledger Clerk

• Processing of invoices – registering documents for authorisation and passing them on the ledger ready for payment
• Working with departmental managers to ensure invoices are authorised in a timely manner
• Requesting copy invoices from suppliers
• Liaising with supplier to resolve any document queries
• Assisting with statement reconciliations as required
• Ad hoc duties as required
