Project Controls Manager , Permanent, London
Our Client is seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to be responsible for the progress of the HPC, SZC and BRB Nuclear Power Projects.
Responsibilities:-
- Assist and collect relevant information in relation to Project Management Triangle, i.e. "scope" (features and quality), "time" and "cost", of the HPC, SZC and BRB nuclear power projects
- Draft report with respect to project progress including schedule updates, forecast to complete, preliminary analyse the variance and opportunities for supporting decision-making
- Conduct and review risk assessment on any deviation of the project delivery and draft reports, proposals and presentations for decision-making
- Draft the project progress update as the basis of further project control proposals
- Support the Director of Contracts and Procurement Development with respect to other tasks assigned
- Design and organise an engineering cost control system with a clear understanding of project capital flows, and to manage, track and control project costs
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor degree of science, engineering or economics or above with professional knowledge of the project management, project controls, cost control and Engineering control
- Competent on project management and issues resolution capability
- Fully developed IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong capability of coordination
- Budgetary skills and cost conscious
- Experience of Infrastructure projects preferably Nuclear, Construction or Utilities
- Strong knowledge of working in a safety critical, regulated industry
