Classroom Teachers are currently looking for an SEN Teacher with previous SEN experience to join an Ofsted rated 'Good' secondary school in South East London.

A school with a specialism in developing students with learning difficulties, primarily SLD, PMLD and autism. The pupils require a passionate teacher to provide a creative and practical learning environment.

You will:

Be teaching very small classes with students with severe learning difficulties working at a very low level.

The hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am - 4:15pm.

Assist with the management of student behaviour to ensure a constructive working environment.

Responding to students about the work that has been set.

Mark work, give appropriate feedback and maintain records of pupils' progress and development.

Be supported with a team of highly qualified teaching assistants.

Select and use a range of different learning resources and equipment to motivate and encourage students.

The age range you will be working with will be between 11 and 19.

Candidate requirements:

You must have previous experience working in this sort of environment

You will need an enhanced DBS, this can be process through us and will cost a fee of £40 that the government charge - we add no extra administration fee.

A QTS is essential

You must be passionate about education, and possess a positive and engaging demeanour.
