Our client is currently recruiting for an NCS Youth Engagement Recruiter. Based out of the Farnborough office, the primary function of the role is to engage with young people at NCS recruitment events in the Hampshire area.
Duties:
- Ability to present to large audiences of young people creating enthusiasm and a passion to take part in NCS via schools, colleges and youth group events
- To meet targets set by Regional Recruitment Manager for each NCS recruitment campaign
- Ability to deliver strong sales pitches when working on recruitment stalls to sell the NCS experience to young people
- Build and maintain relationships with a wide range of key stakeholders including teachers, parents/guardians, community leaders, governors etc. in order to gain support for NCS
- Proactively identify new opportunities to recruit young people onto the programme
- Ability to adapt presentation style to a varied audience
- Ability to work with young people during delivery of the summer NCS programme
Skills & Experience:
- An energetic, enthusiastic and persuasive personality
- Strong communication skills both in a 1-1 and group settings with people from varied backgrounds
- Sales experience within a target environment, demonstrating when you have been a top performer
- Public speaking experience
- Ability to build a quick rapport with people
- Driving license and access to car
