I am working with a fantastic, reputable engineering business that are well-known for their strong 40+ year's product development background. All products are designed and produced in-house - so you will be surrounded by the whole product life-cycle!
The successful Senior Electronics Design Engineer will be working directly with other design and project engineers - but will mainly be working independently on detailed design work.
What will you be doing?
*Designing analogue and digital electronic circuits and equipment
*Constructing and evaluating design prototypes (including testing and analysis of results)
*Producing engineering drawings using computer-assisted engineering and design software
*Estimating material, construction, labour costs and project timescales
*Researching new techniques and technologies to enhance the company's product line
What do we need from you?
*4 years' minimum experience
*HNC/HND or Degree in Electronics Engineering
*Strong interest in analogue design (with some digital)
*Schematic Capture and PCB layout knowledge
*Testing and debugging hardware designs alongside specifications and schematics
What do we need from you? - Desirable
*Switch Mode Power Supply Design experience
*JIRA
*Knowledge of embedded software/firmware
