Acorn Executive Search is supporting Hockey Wales with the appointment of two Non-Executive Directors.

Hockey Wales is recruiting two Non-Executive Directors to join their Board

This is a very exciting time for hockey in Wales, with increasing levels of participation and success on the International stage. We are looking to appoint two passionate, innovative individuals with a specific range of skills, knowledge and experience to join our Board. To complement our existing high performing team of Board Directors, we are particularly targeting recruiting those with expertise in either commercial/business or communication/marketing environments and we welcome applicants from all genders and ethnicities.

All roles are initially for a 12-month period and can be renewed annually subject to agreement. Applications are also welcomed from any person who is eligible to undertake the role of a Company Director.


The Hockey Wales Board's role is to:

1.Provide leadership and expertise in specific areas to the company within the framework of prudent and effective controls that enable risk to be assessed and managed.

2.Set the Hockey Wales vision and strategic aims ensuring that the necessary financial and human resources are in place for the company to meet its objectives and to also review management performance.

3.Set the Hockey Wales values and standards and ensure that its obligations to the Hockey Wales members and others are understood and met.

Remuneration - Non Executive Company Director role is voluntary with expenses paid.
Time commitment - approximately 1 day per month.
