We are looking for a Central HR Advisor based in Manchester and are offering a fantastic opportunity where no two days are the same!

Your New Role:

You will be responsible for maintaining and delivering a consistent HR approach across the HR Support Team and the wider business. You will liase with the HR Support Team to understand the approaches being used and support the team to ensure that consistent advice is given at all times. Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing start to end ER Case Management, including conducting Employee Relation update calls with the Regional Business Managers, tracking progress, updating the case management system and exporting reports to provide information and statistics to the HR Ops Managers and Head of HR
  • Completing the start to end recruitment process - advertising the vacancy and collating applications, arranging assessment days and interviews, advising candidates of outcomes, managing disclosure process for all applicants ensuring all employees cleared by start date
  • Attend the first day of the Internal Training Course to provide the on-boarding welcome with the HR Ops Manager
  • Process numerical and statistical information to provide raw data to the HR Ops Managers and ensure accurate records are kept in line with Data Protection
  • Maintain knowledge of statutory and legal requirements relevant to the role and display a commitment to personal development within the role
  • Required to spend 25% of the time in the required region (driving licence essential)
  • Undertake any ad hoc projects as directed

  • Up to date knowledge of HR best practice
  • The ability to work well under pressure and to tight time deadlines, supporting the wider Service Centre as and when required
  • Work well as a member as a team and individually
  • Strong IT skills, including good knowledge of Excel
  • Exceptional Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve and manage projects
  • Excellent attention to detail
