If you're a qualified and experienced Secondary School DT Technician, looking for fantastic new opportunity to utilise your skill set, this may be the job for you.
A position for a DT Technician has become available at an excellent, all boys independent school in South London.
Applicants for this DT Technician post must be able to support the DT department in all areas of lesson preparation and general running of the classes.
Only DT Technicians with previous knowledge and experience will be considered for the position.
The school is looking to appoint a DT Technician for January 2020.
The salary for this DT Technician position will be £16663 to £18394 depending on experience and qualifications.
The School
A lovely independent all boys school in South London, situated in 45 acres of natural surroundings and known as one of London's oldest schools.
The school offers a number of academic pathways including A Level, Pre U, the IB and BTEC. They also offer a bilingual area for native French speakers.
Sports is a big part of the schools ethos and they have won a number of awards over the years. A variety of sports are practiced, and a high number of pupils go on to pursue a career in sports.
Performing Arts also plays a major role for pupils who are passionate about Drama and Music.
Requirements
Applications are welcome from DT Technicians at any stage in their career, as well both British trained DT Technicians and overseas trained DT Technicians.
All DT Technicians applicants must have the following as a minimum:
- Ability to oversee the management of resources and running of the DT Department's equipment
- Right to work in the UK
- Experience of working as a DT Technician in the UK
