The Senior Business Analyst role:
The Senior Business Analyst assists the Head of Business Change in the delivery of business change across the organisation, through the enhancement and implementation of new internal or customer software solutions.
The Senior Business Analyst takes overall responsibility for the investigation and analysis of required business activities and processes, with the aim to make them intuitive, efficient and scalable. In addition, they lead on the communication with business users, understanding individual department needs, translating and conveying (where necessary) how software solutions can support the organisation’s goals.
The Senior Business Analyst provides advice and coaching to other Business Analysts, supporting them to provide a range of product implementations to the business, including documenting functional requirement specifications to define system functions and work flows, in line with required deadlines.
Finally, the Senior Business Analyst is viewed as an expert on the process and best practices for conducting requirements practices, addressing uncertainty and concern with senior leaders, and oversees impact evaluation and reporting following a software implementation.
