Job Title: Injury Claims Technician

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum

Position: Full Time, Permanent

The Role:

They are looking for an Injury Claims Technician to join their desktop operation based in the centre of Birmingham.

About you:

The ideal candidate will come from either a loss adjusting or insurance background. You will be a fast learner with experience of managing commercial injury claims effectively and will be able to demonstrate a track record of providing excellent customer service.

You will have / will be:

  • Ideally have 8 -10 years experience
  • A strong technical capability and attention to detail, able to apply differing policy wordings and coverage
  • Ability to manage quantum proactively to achieve the best outcomes for policyholders and insurers
  • Customer focus with a track record of delivering outstanding levels of service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver against KPIs
  • Experience working in a Third-Party Administrator environment would be an advantage
  • Experience in liability property claims would also be useful though not essential
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and take ownership of your own caseload of claims, seeking assistance as necessary
  • Excellent organisational & communications skills
  • A positive attitude and a proactive approach to solving problems
  • Ability to co-ordinate a variety of actions concurrently
