Salary: Circa £30K - Overtime available

Hours: Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 16:30

Lots of overtime (inflated rate after 40 hours) and weekend work available

Currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join my clients busy Electrical and Controls team. The sole Electrical Design Engineer will focus on 3D panel models and Electrical Schematic diagrams for a range of manufacturing machinery.

The successful candidate(s) will be working for a market leader who have a large portfolio well-known Manufacturing client - UK & Worldwide

The successful candidate will receive expert on-boarding & training as well as long term career opportunities.

The Job

• Produce wiring schematics - Ensuring Electrical Regulations & compliance is achieved
• Extensive use of CAD packages
• Using SolidWorks 3D - Model Electrical Panel layouts
• Produce associated paperwork
• Work closely with Production, Engineers and other staff
• Develop and investigate new technology and equipment
• Research & Development: developing new machinery & technologies

Familiar Systems & Regs

• CAD Software
• Familiar with PLC's Inverters, Drive Systems
• 18TH EDITION
• 3D CAD
• SolidWorks CAD (Desired)

The Person

• CAD experience - Essential
• Apprentice trained or educated higher to HNC / HND-
• Ideally come from a Maintenance / Production background - FMCG, Packaging, Food etc.
• Must be prepared to work outside of regular hours when required
