What will you be doing?

Our department’s performance is of great importance and highlights the level of service we are offering. The sales department is the heart of the business and essentially, we are the voice of the customer.

As our Customer Service Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting external and internal customers in the day to day process of placing orders, dealing with any queries and ensuring the correct interpretation of their needs, in a positive and effective manner consistent with the values of the organisation.

Key Customer Service Advisor responsibilities will include:

  • Answering calls promptly and professionally always
  • Handle customer complaints and complete the internal NCR process
  • Offer day to day support to colleagues and be an integral part of the team environment
  • Always look to build good customer relationships
  • Liaise with DVLA in relation to RNPS (registered number plate suppliers)
  • General administration including: Post, filing and invoicing.
  • Tracking and arranging return of goods through FedEx
  • Processing of proforma payments
  • Attend occasional trade shows to provide administrative support
  • Be active in suggestions on how to improve customer service and business processes

What do you need?

  • Ability to effectively and calmly communicate and actively listen
  • Can-do attitude is very much needed for this role
  • IT skills and a good level of understanding of Microsoft products would be advantageous
  • You will be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and ethics and put the customer first in all situations.
  • Interest and enjoyment in working with people
  • Polite, positive and tactful personality
  • Able to work calmly under pressure
