Cafe Assistant (Temporary)

Are you looking for some immediate temporary work within a cafe environment? Have you previously worked in a coffee shop or similar environment and can you operate a till? Can you commit to a minimum period of 3 months within the Winchester area? If yes, please read on as this could be the perfect new role for you.

We are currently recruiting for a cafe assistant on a full time temporary basis. You will be required to work on a rota basis between the hours of 07.00 and 16.00 Monday to Sunday, working 37 hours per week, 5 days out of 7. There may also be times you have the opportunity to work extra hours.

As a cafe assistant your main responsibilities will include;
*Making coffee
*Serving customers
*Taking orders
*Operating the till
*Wiping/cleaning tables
*Washing up
*Assisting with setting up and clearing rooms for events
*Other duties as required

Key skills and experience required;
*Experience working in a coffee shop
*Ability to use a till
*Excellent customer service skills
*Minimum of 1 to 2 years of working in a customer facing role
*Ability to work in a busy environment
*A good team player, able to impact positively a team environment
*Able to demonstrate a positive attitude
