Our client is an established manufacturer of a range of chemicals for a wide variety of industrial applications and global export markets.

Our client requires a highly motivated professional Account Executive to help in the continuing growth of this dynamic independent business. You will need to possess significant telephone sales experience, be self-motivated and focused on actively closing new business opportunities. This is an office based role.

Reporting to the Sales Director, this role will help provide sales systems and structure within the business such as CRM, competitive intelligence and marketing collateral.

Key Responsibilities

1. To organise a systematic approach to calling existing and potential customers with the sole purpose of winning business.
2. Assist in creating and implementing a new CRM system to facilitate the sales process.
3. To work together with the Business Analyst to establish new clients and markets where the business can make successful inroads and drive growth.
4. Disciplined collection of actionable data, such as competitive reference price, size of opportunity, customer order process and timelines to closure.
5. Explore opportunities for other sales channels to be exploited such as e-commerce, website enhancement and creation of marketing collateral all in support of the company growth program.

3. Degree educated or suitably qualified by experience.
4. Highly IT literate with exceptional interpersonal skills and a confident telephone manner.
5. Organised, analytical and numerate.
6. Confident and articulate within a senior management environment.
