Site Manager (Temporary)

Site Manager needed for work with a Regional Contractor that specialises in commercial projects. Our client is looking for an experienced Site Manager for an upcoming new build commercial development in the Newcastle area.

The project duration is 13 months, and is expected to start on site in March 2020.

Details of the role:

• Newcastle based
• Free on-site parking
• 40- 50 Hours per week (overtime available)
• Commercial new build development
• 56 week programme
• £24 - £26 per hour

Responsibilities of the role:

• Planning and organising direct and subcontractor labour on site
• Allocating work for subcontractors and direct labour
• Ensuring resources are ordered in time and used effectively
• Maintaining high standards of Health and Safety
• Reporting progress of the project to Contracts Manager
• Ensure high standards of quality are maintained throughout

Requirements of the role:

• Valid SMSTS qualification
• Previous experience delivering a commercial new build project
• Recent work reference contacts
