Warranty / After Sales Engineer (Barcelona) (Permanent)

An immediate vacancy for an After Sales Technical Support Engineer / Warranty Engineer, with experience within the Aircraft / Aerospace industry. A customer support role, focused on Aircraft maintenance. Based in the beautiful city of Barcelona and salaried at c40,000 Euros.

Role

You will work directly with aircraft OEM suppliers and airline companies, working with both parties to gain an understand of equipment failure and supporting warranty issues.

Day to day the role will include looking at reports around maintenance / breakdowns and assessing claims to determine if they meet terms outlined in the Warranty criteria. You will work with maintenance teams and equipment suppliers to ensure maximum availability and reliability of aircraft and associated parts or components.

The role is situated in Barcelona. Suitable candidates will be fluent in Spanish and hold a Spanish passport.

Candidate

You will be a qualified or time served engineer, preferably within the aviation / aircraft industry. Candidates with a solid warranty / after sales background in a similar technical industry are also encouraged to apply.

Together with a sound engineering background you will have excellent communication skills and customer support/service experience. Sound IT skills is also required.

To reiterate successful candidates will need to be fluent in Spanish and hold a Spanish passport in order to gain security clearance.
