Associate Solicitor | Banking & Restructuring | Top 50 Law Firm (Permanent)

The Firm: This firm is a ambitious national firm and is built around needs of their clients. With over 1000 employees and 110 partners across their UK offices, they have grown over the last 3 years and continue to do so. An energetic firm with an entrepreneurial, collaborative culture, they are looking for driven talented individuals.

The Role: The focus of their banking team is acting lender side on transactions for all of the UK clearing bank, the so-called challenger banks and investment funds. The team also advises many of the firms largest clients on transactions in debt markets. They provide expert and commercial advice in all areas of general corporate lending, real estate finance, trade and asset finance. As an Associate in the banking team you will be responsible for: managing your own caseload of real estate finance or banking lending transactions. You will provide an excellent service to clients by working closely with colleagues from across the UK in the Banking teams. You will develop and strengthen the relationships with their clients.

Requirements: Ideally you will be 3-5 years' PQE but the firm can be flexible on this for the right candidate. You will have previous Corporate Lending or Real Estate finance experience. Ideally you will come from a City or large regional firm who has a track record for supporting organisations with commercial lending transactions. You will have strong detail to attention. You will have excellent drafting and communication skills together with a desire to work on complex (cross border) financing transactions.
