Are you looking for a Development Team Lead role where you are not only an individual contributor, but also a coach and a mentor?

Are you eager to work in a start-up environment, where you learn about all aspects of business, and crucially play a key part in product direction and influence decisions that shape an entire company?

If the answers to these questions is yes, you should speak with this company in Shoreditch!

Since starting in 2014, they've won multiple awards and been supported by Google and The BBC for their innovative AI-powered platform, have grown to 50+ people and are selling in more than 50 countries.

They are looking to double in size over the coming 12 months, and the VP of Engineering is looking to hire 2 Development Team Leads as his deputies.

You'll be working for a VP of Engineering who has spent 5 years in Silicon Valley, with very progressive philosophies when it comes to learning and development, so this is someone you can learn a lot from and crucially, is someone that wants you to learn.

Engineering health is also important to him - so much so that he makes sure the team dedicate 30% of their time to paying down technical debt and platform improvements.

As a Development Team Lead joining the team, you'll be working across their tech stack - HTML, CSS (SASS), JavaScript (ES5-7), TypeScript, GraphQL with Apollo, the React ecosystem, Node.js, MongoDB, Redis & Docker. They are expanding into using Golang and Kubernetes.

However, your Development Team Lead role goes beyond delivering high-quality code, as you'll be responsible for a team of engineers. You'll take responsibility for managing their workloads, proactively sharing your knowledge and acting as a mentor.

If you've got experience with the technologies mentioned above, as well as experience leading the work of agile software development teams, they would love to speak with you.

The salary for this Development Team Lead role is between £80,000 + £90,000 + share options, as well as great benefits like unlimited holiday, flexible working and many others.
