Medical Negligence Litigation Executive (Permanent)

Medical Negligence Litigation Executive | Southport | £24,000 - £35,000

I am working with a well-established law firm based in Southport who specialise in medical negligence, motorcycle injuries and serious injury claims and they're now recruiting for an experienced Litigation Executive to join their fast growling clinical negligence department on a permanent basis.

The role will be to join the clinical / medical negligence team by working on allocated cases, corresponding with customers and experts to ensure their cases are conducted in a proactive and commercially focused manner. The successful Litigation Executive will be working on all aspects of litigation including both pre-litigation and post-litigation from inception to settlement.

Duties include following up medical records, researching medical conditions, negotiating settlement, issue and service of proceedings, drafting correspondence, obtaining relevant medical evidence for the client, and discussing and agreeing case tactics and planning with the Team Leader.

The successful Litigation Executive will have at least 1 - 2 years' experience of handing a medical negligence caseload from start to finish, have excellent organisational and time management skills, great IT skills specifically Microsoft Office packages, Proclaim experience, drafting legal documentation, and have exceptional attention to detail and
