UK / Nordics territory manager home office and travel based (Permanent)
My client is a rapidly growing animal health diagnostics test maker. Their focus is Bovine, Swine and Poultry segment.
They offer flexibility and room for expanding your sales & animal health knowledge. The position is 60% travel - with a main focus in the UK, rest of the time in the Scandinavian countries, and 40% home office based. Thus you can achieve a better work/life balance.
Requirements:
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers as well as acquire new business (Laboratories, Farmers, Veterinary clinics, government officials..)
- Make known the full range of products by providing educational and informational tools and webinars about the diagnostic solutions to Livestock owners, through laboratory and veterinary channels
- Translating the sales strategy into key account and sales of your portfolio
Skills and experience
- Previous successful consultative sales and Key-Account Management experience.
- High comfort with both outbound and inbound sales activity, combining account strategy with attention to detail.
- Strong communications skills including writing, listening and questioning.
- Sales ability / persuasiveness.
- Strong skills in negotiation and leveraging to increase the business and increase the value for customers
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish rapport quickly, build and maintain relationships.
- Capability to absorb and articulate technical information about testing and testing programs
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Computer proficiency
- A background in (molecular) biology is valued in a candidate
- A veterinary background is valued in a candidate
- A diagnostic background is valued in a candidate
- Fluent business English required, a second language would be advantageous.
