For one of our clients, one of the biggest manufacturer of water based coatings we are currently looking for an experienced SALES MANAGER ( water based coatings specialist )to cover its German market.
The company is a family owned business with over 100 years of presence in the industry. They are well known for short decision making processes and for flat hierarchies which will allow you to be recognised for your personal achievements.
Your tasks will include :
- Promote new products in line with the strategy agreed with the relevant Business Managers
- Manage local pricing to guarantee margin targets agreed with the GM and Business Managers
- Provide market intelligence to the BU Managers
- Effective use of the Company CRM and regular market/sales reports as required
- Maintain clear and effective communication with HQ (technical and commercial)
What we are looking for :
- Dynamic hands-on technical sales professional.
- Fluent German speaker and Good English language skills (essential)
- Direct development of a key customers and potentials.
- New business/market development
- Commercial experience in at least one of the following sectors:
- Wood Coating
- Metal Coating
- Rigid Plastic Coating
- Flexible Packaging and Inks
- Industrial Coating (general non-specified coating sectors)
- Ideally having water-based PUD experience
The position is fully home based which means you can plan your time accordingly and you can be based wherever you want in Germany.
