Strategic Purchaser - CAPEX/ MRO (Permanent)
A brand new position has come available with a growing food organisation based in the heart of Berlin. My client is looking for a experienced procurement professional to join their international supply chain team and be part of the development of the new manufacturing site for Europe. Starting as a small European company, the business has now grown to over 45 countries and hired a high number of employees across the Globe.
The key function for this position will be to carry out strategic development with a strong focus in CAPEX & MRO. Developing relationships with suppliers and negotiating prices in order to manage and provide cost saving options for the company. You will be working directly alongside the Head of Procurement for Germany and Europe establishing processes to improve the department and achieve business targets. This opportunity is great for someone who is a driven procurement professional and looking for a chance to develop their career and strive for growth and promotion.
To be successful candidate must have:
- 3+ years strategic purchasing experience
- Experience in MRO & CAPEX or Indirect purchasing
- Ideally have a background working in the food, chemical or pharmaceutical industry
- Fluent in German & English
