Cleaning Supervisor opportunity

Location: Newport

Pay rate: £12.50 per hour

Duration: 6 months

Our client, based in Newport, is in the facilities management business with hundreds of customers across different industries and locations.

In recent weeks, there's been a large demand for deep cleans to be completed in environments such as warehouses, factories, stores and construction sites. In light of this, our client has asked for candidates to be comfortable operating in all mentioned environments. Work will be performed under comfortable and non-hazardous conditions.

The standard working week will consist of 40 hours Monday to Friday. Shift times will vary week to week and you could be required for days or nights but will be notified in advance. Overtime rates/allowance will be in place for the shifts at 'unsociable' times.

This role will require you to travel up to 30 miles for some of the sites further away from base. Please keep this in mind when applying.

Main duties consist of…

• Ensure all operatives comply with Safe Working Practices as directed by Standard Operating Systems/Procedures Work Method and Risk Assessments.
• Assist in the review of Standard Operations Systems/Procedures, Risk, Manual Handling and COSHH assessments.
• Assist in completion of all documentation as required by Quality/Health and Safety and Environmental/Management Systems.
• Attend any disciplinary process if required.
• Adherence to all management systems.

Things you need to know…

• Pre-Employment Drug testing will take place.
• DBS Screening will be completed prior to start.
• Full UK driving License is required as mobility is essential for this role.
