We are looking for well presented, degree educated Strategic Account Manager with experience in selling business intelligence and/or data products. Our client, a global leader in Financial Business Intelligence, has a wonderful book of business ready to be taken over. This exciting role is on offer with a financially stable business that has not had to furlough or lay off anyone due to covid-19, who are continuing to grow and expand, because of their market leading products and ongoing market demand. There are clear paths of progression, an excellent starting salary, international travel (when safe to do so) and excellent bonus potential!

This role will be idea for someone with 2-3+ years of sales in business intelligence or data subscription products as well as skills in account management, retention/renewal, client relationship management. The right candidate will also have a confident, well spoken phone manner. An interest or experience in the financial services, funds or investment sector would also be an asset. While the role is taking over a warm book of business, there will be a focus on growing and mapping active accounts, along with increasing engagement.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

*Achieving renewal targets from existing clients by maintaining relationships, training clients, establishing the value of our services, upselling and renewing contracts.
*New Business - Bringing new clients on board or providing new products to your existing client base.
*sourcing and closing new business opportunities for the organisation through new business means such as cold calling, emailing and setting up meetings.
*Managing and developing your revenue stream to establish a pipeline
*Managing and developing your revenue stream through established business opportunities
*Developing your understanding of products, our competitors and clients to enable maximised sales and revenue generation.

Ideal candidate will possess the following:

*Previous experience in B2B sales/desire to enter into B2B sales, new business, account management and retention/renewals
*Consultative B2B sales/retentions/account management experience would be an advantage
*Previous sales experience working within the financial services market, specifically with investment organizations would be an advantage
*Strong presentation, communication, negotiation and closing skills
*Highly developed business acumen and the ability to understand the wider issues of the industry
*The ability to identify new revenue opportunities and maximise product potential
