Job Title: Technical Administrator

Location: Orpington, Kent BR6 0JA

Salary: £26,000 per annum

Job Type: Full Time, 6 Month Contract (Mon - Fri, 9am - 5pm)

This company are importers, distributors and food processors servicing the Food Services, Retail, Ethnic and Food Manufacturing sectors.

The Role:

They require a Technical Administrator to assist with providing a technical service to a dedicated range of Food Products, namely Rice, Rice Flours, Couscous and Frozen Rice & Pasta.

Key Requirements:

The successful candidate will report to the Technical Controller, and will help be responsible for Food Quality and Safety, with a remit covering the following, but not limited to

• To maintain all filing systems in Technical Services
• Maintain Technical specifications for their products in collaboration with the Technical Team
• To help improve the Quality Manual
• Help produce and issue Certificates of Analysis / Conformance to customers
• Help with the recording, monitoring and replying to all customer/consumer complaints
• Assist with necessary collecting and ensuring accurate documentation for BRC
• Obtaining Technical documents from suppliers
• You should be able to demonstrate experience in the above area. Food manufacturing experience would be helpful but not essential
