Application Specialist for LIMS - Ireland (Permanent)

Application Specialist, experienced scientific background, Ireland, laboratory software specialist

We are currently looking for an out-going personality with a strong professional background working in a lab that is now seeking to share their knowledge of LIMS and lab software with customers across Ireland. This role will afford you responsibility as a key member of a world leading analytical instrumentation supplier. Training will be customised to your profile and you have the opportunity to act as the first point of contact for key customers across Ireland. There will be travel to customers from biotech, pharma and laboratories nationwide really enabling you to develop your own network of professionals. This is an Application orientated position; the emphasis is more placed on your own knowledge and passion for technology and science - which you then share with customers in order to maintain the relationship.

Key Responsibilities:

• After-sales support to customers provided on the phone, by email and during site visits
• Organise and perform seminars, demonstrations and workshops both online and in person
• Perform User trainings
• Troubleshooting assistance
• Follow-up trainings
• Work in close collaboration with sales to assist in driving sales
• Possibility to lead product launch/promotion projects

Experience and Qualifications:

• A structured person with a profound service and result oriented mind-set
• Scientific background, with minimum a technical or bachelor degree
• Advanced experience within a regulated laboratory
• Experience with LIMS or other lab software is ideal
• Computer Science/IT background is a bonus
• Willingness to travel
• Relevant experience is relevant, but the most important thing is your attitude and willingness to work focused to get results
