Electrical Engineer (Permanent)

Clayton Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Electrical Engineer based in Blackburn.

You will be responsible for providing an effective and efficient electrical maintenance service.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Practical knowledge and experience of electrical maintenance
• Undertake maintenance and defective repair work as generated by the Electrical manager.
• Maintain records and documentation as instructed by the manager.
• Advise manager of any plant or system deficiency or defect
• Liaise and work with departmental staff to undertake duties, causing minimum disruption to staff.
• Ensure compliance with H&S requirements and at all times utilise personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Make all reasonable effort to ensure response times to jobs are achieved and comply with the company's requirements and that value for money is obtained.
• Maintain and keep safe and in good repair all tools and equipment.
• Other duties as required and when requested by the Mechanical and Electrical Operations Manager or a more senior manager.
• A comprehensive understanding of electrical health and safety regulations

This is a full time permanent position working a shift rota, 6-2, 2-10 and 10-6 Monday to Friday.
