Project Quality Control Engineer (Contract)
We have an excellent opportunity for a PROJECT QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER based at Rosyth
The successful Candidate would ideally have:
Minimum 5 years experience working within the Nuclear, or another regulated sector and familiar with our quality and manufacturing standards
Been involved in the manufacture, assembly and testing of turnkey specialised mechanical assemblies
Dealt with multiple sub contractors and the coordination that this entails
Shall be converse with quality planning and the use of manufacturing Quality Plans and Inspection Test Plans
Experience in reviewing supply chain out puts (NDT reports, Weld history logs, inspection reports) to ensure they are complete, accurate and complied in line with the contract requirements
Ideally undertook a relevant Trade Apprenticeship.
SHALL HOLD AS A MINIMUM:
CSWIP weld inspection, 3.1 or PCN level 2 weld inspector qualification
Ideally Senior weld inspector 3.2 or PCN level 3 weld inspector qualification
IDEALLY, THE CANDIDATE SHOULD HOLD:
PCN Level 2 - Magnetic particle Inspection.
PCN Level 2 - Penetrant Inspection.
PCN Level 2 - Ultrasonic Inspection.
BGASS, ICORR, NACE - Paint inspection.
Candidate needs to be a flexible team player who will be supporting an existing QC Inspection team with a proactive can-do attitude
