We are looking for 6 x B1 licensed aircraft engineers currently type rated and with recency,
B1 LAE B747 - 400 RB211 engines to join our growing Civil Aerospace team carrying out base and line maintenance duties, on a contract basis,
£32 per hour + £5 performance related retention bonus
Requirements of the role:
To carry out and certify, within the scope of licences and approvals, both maintenance and upgrade work undertaken on narrow and wide bodied aircraft.
Hold a current EASA B1 Licence - B747 - 400 RB211 Essential
Routine maintenance checks and airworthiness duties.
Excellent communication skills
Aircraft Preparation.
Monitoring staff under your control.
Flexible working attitude in a fast changing environment
Good computer literacy.
Providing close supervision and technical support those working on the aircraft, ensuring work is carried out efficiently and safely.
Completion of tasks as requested by senior engineers and management team.
The role requires and rewards flexibility. The role operates on an annualised hour contract, whereby hours are apportioned throughout the year within a framework to meet customer demand.
