Primavera Administrator (Permanent)
My nuclear client are recruiting for a Primavera Administrator to Join their framework delivery team.
The Critical Mission Solutions line of business supports our key client with regards their nuclear fleet in the UK and has an annual turnover in excess of £40M. This is a key role within our Project Management Resource team which is spread across our UK network. You will be part of a large client lead team at their head office in Barnwood, this role will support multiple projects within their UK wide project portfolio.
The Primavera Administrator is part of the Primavera Business Support Team within the CTO Programme Office Infrastructure Group. The role delivers support services and infrastructure maintenance for users of Primavera (P6), including monthly & ad-hoc reporting, maintaining overall system integrity, daily operations and development activities.
In addition to this, maintaining processes, tools and ensuring compliance with the Nuclear Generation policies and standards through stakeholder engagement, change control and ad-hoc activities will be key requirements of the position.
Key Responsibilities
General administration and support to users, within specified Service Level Agreements
New user / licence administration, including new starters & leavers
Setup and maintenance of coding and data structures within Primavera P6 system
Respond to emergent issues and take appropriate steps to ensure system availability is in line with Service Level Agreements and user expectations
Adhere to any change control processes regarding schedules, baselines and milestones. Ensure Planners are following Nuclear Generation policies and standards by supplying audit reports to the relevant CTO Programme Office Group Head
Deal with general queries on the above
Provide cover for others in the department as and when required and where appropriate
Qualifications

About you:
Knowledge and Skills
Excellent MS Office skills and working knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or relational database software
High level of numeracy and excellent analytical skills, including use of appropriate IT tools
Ability to work well with stakeholders both inside and outside of the immediate team
Ability to use own initiative and resolving problems in a timely manner
Task management skills, focused particularly on delivering business as usual support services
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience of formal Project Controls roles, processes and tools desirable
Qualification
P102 Primavera P6 Professional Fundamentals qualification essential
P106- P Primavera P6 Professional Advanced qualification essential
P106-A Primavera P6 Application Administration qualification essential
Expert in use of Primavera P6, MS Excel
Experience with Oracle or other SQL relational databases desirable
Experience with IT Service Management systems desirable
Knowledge of SAP, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing & Workflow solutions desirable
