Location: Remote - covering the region South West of London (Guildford would be an ideal base)

Role Overview:

As a Test Engineer you will survey, test and inspect lightning protection and buried earthing systems. As a professional, confident self-starter with experience in field based services, you will help deliver on 3 important areas:

• Mitigating Risk - a 'safe pair of hands' when it comes to getting the job done, on time, on budget and, most importantly, executed safely.
• Protecting People - the Company's goal is to become an extension of their customers' safety teams, having the correct focus and metrics which actively measure how engineers look for potential hazards on customer sites, keeping both you and the customer safe.
• Provide independent advice and guidance - the Company's ethos is firmly focussed on delivering technical expertise, adopting collaborative ways of working which will often result in giving technical advice, support and guidance delivered through highly experienced team members with unrivalled industry experience. This is done with the sole purpose of 'Keeping the Company engineers and customer assets safe & compliant.'

What's Involved:

You'll be travelling across a wide variety of sites on planned and re-active maintenance jobs, so you'll need a familiarity with lighting protection systems, as well as the ability to deliver top customer service, meeting multiple customers each day.

They are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic candidate to undertake this role. If this sounds like you join the team and you will be trained up so you're competent and able to inspect lightning protection systems to the relevant standards of BS 6651 and BS EN 62305.
