Cyber Security Specialist - In-house, South-West Germany

One of our clients from the life sciences sector is looking for a talented Cyber Security Specialist in the South-West of Germany to come on board and help them with a wide variety of tasks. The goal of the position is essentially to make sure that the organisation is update and top notch in all regards to security. Who we are looking for:

A degree / training from a relevant fields.

At least 3 years experience from similar positions - specialist for IT and Information Security, Security Audits, GRC.

Knowledge of the relevant guidelines, ideally combined with the relevant certifications such as ISO27001, BSI Grundschutz, etc.

Project management experience.

Experience with managing third party suppliers.

Experience delivering Security Awareness Trainings and knowledgeable with relevant tools.

Fluent in German and English.

What you will do:

You will get to plan and drive the ISMS implementation across the organisation.

Assess the current IT set up of the company and identify future upgrade needs.

You will get to be in charge of the company`s information security strategy, from risk assessment to mitigation and process improvements.

You will be in charge of licence management.

You will cooperate with various internal departments, conduct security awareness training.

Create and keep all relevant knowledge base up to date.
