Cleaning Shift Leader 30 hours (Contract)
Exciting opportunity for a facilities shift leader to join one of the area's largest employers. Working Monday-Friday and 30 hours per week - the hours will fall between 7.30am and 5pm.
The role will include the following:
* Cleaning operation, including some specialist cleaning and conference set-up,
* Waste operations, including recycling and the destruction of confidential waste process
* Portering
* Room set-ups
* Deliveries
* Postal services
The post-holder will assist in the effective and efficient running and performance of their team. This will include, but is not restricted, to ensuring there is requisite cover for staff on shift, providing staff supervision and guidance, prioritising shift duties and activities, providing incident management and applying escalation procedures as necessary, ensuring incidents are accurately and appropriately logged and recorded and overseeing administrative matters.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Take responsibility for a group of staff
Supervise, mentor and support the team and its members.
* Liaise with Management
Liaise regularly with the Management team to ensure the service operates as cohesively and as productively as possible.
Update the management team on any significant issues or staff contributions worthy of recognition.
* Co-ordinate all aspects of service delivery
Understand the service delivery requirements for the area of work, both reactive and non-reactive.
* Co-ordinate stock requests
* Monitor activities
* Monitor standards
* Health & Safety
