Product Consultant (Permanent)

I am looking to recruit a Product Consultant for a market leading software company based in the North. You will ideally have some Software Training experience but it is not essential. This is a field based role so you can be based from home and travel to clients across the UK. You will be staying overnight near client offices 3 or 4 nights a week.

You must be a good team player but also be able to work on your own initiative building up and maintaining good relationships with our client base. Occasionally you will be required to present or demo at our users groups or as part of the pre-sales process.

In order to be suitable for this position you must have the following:

*You will be presentable and confident when meeting new people, and have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
*You will have a history of working in a customer focused environment
*You will have good communication skills allowing you to explain clearly how our software works
*You will have strong initiative skills, demonstrated in an imaginative approach to creating and delivering training courses, and identifying continuous improvements
*You will be able to consult with the customer to clearly understand their requirements and tailor the course accordingly
*You will be a self starter with the ability to quickly learn new skills
*Microsoft Office (Core products Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer etc.)
*Customer focused, lively and confident speaking in front of groups of people
*Highly PC literate
*Solid communication and written skills
*A desire to learn
