REACH Expert (hazardous materials )

For one of our clients, famous manufacturer in central Germany, we are currently looking for a REACH manager to join its team .

As one of the best established businesses in Europe, our client is well known for its excellent high quality products and very innovative medical solutions.

Your role :

• Project management of regulatory processes ( REACH/CLP/GHS )
• Monitoring and implementation of applicable global requirements and national directives on hazardous substance classification and labelling
• Data collection and maintenance of new products/chemicals in SAP-EHS
• Communication with clients and authorities
• Creation of GHS-compliant labels/markings for products in international trade
• Responsibility for chemical compliance
• Advising colleagues and project partners on product classifications and product labelling

Your Profile :

• Extensive knowledge of Chemicals Act and the Hazardous Substances Regulation as well as the REACH, CLP and GHS regulations
• Degree in relevant subject ( chemistry, environmental sciences etc )
• Expertise as a hazardous substance/hazardous goods officer
• Experience working in similar position
• Fluency in GERMAN and English
