People Development Consultant - Field Based (Permanent)

Due to continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit a People Development Consultant to join our Paint & Body / Trade Parts Team.

What will I be responsible for?

Joining the team as a People Development Consultant, you will provide expert advice to internal stakeholders, field force and retail networks on technical & commercial training and people development initiatives representing Volkswagen Group Learning Services and Volkswagen

Group Body & Paint/Trade Parts Specialists in project activities and events. Your role will also involve:

• Liaising directly with the relevant departments in our Centers, to engage key stakeholders to ensure the right people are booked onto the right interventions at the right time
• Supporting with individual and centre wide personal development plans to support with the brand ambitions of the future
• Supporting the implementation of the Group Network People Development Strategy and achievement of qualification targets
• Provision of support to the network regarding technical and commercial training course suitability, qualification programme requirements and brand people standards
• Driving utilisation of technical and commercial training courses to ensure that our learners are fully supported and targets are achieved
• Building engagement by attending onsite visits at the P&B and TPS centres

Who are we looking for?

As our ideal People Development Consultant, you will be passionate about people development have an understanding of training and development within a franchised network. You will also have the following skills and experience:

• Enthusiastic and confident communicator who has proven expertise in relationship building and the ability to create sustainable links with multiple stakeholders
• Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders both on the telephone and in face to face interventions
• A Responsible and organised individual who can co-ordinate various work streams and can excel with personal management of their diaries and priorities
• Driven with resilience and tenacity. Coupled with wider experience in driving excellent customer service in a credible and engaging fashion
• The drive towards extremely satisfied customers, both internal and external
• Full Driving License as the role is semi field based

Desirable

• Experience of working within the automotive industry
• Knowledge of the Volkswagen Group Paint & Body/Trade Parts Specialists network
• Able to demonstrate building strong relationships within a franchised network
• Experience of technical training within a learning and development environment
