The Role:

The ideal Immigration Caseworker will be dealing with general immigration, asylum and human rights matters. The candidate must be Level 2 Accredited in order to deal with Legal Aid work.

Requirements:

The Immigration Caseworker can be at Solicitor or Paralegal level but must have a minimum on 1 year's experience dealing with immigration matters. Experienced in managing your own Immigration caseload.

The successful Immigration Caseworker will be enthusiastic and motivated with a real desire to aid and assist people.

Key responsibilities:

• Represent clients before immigration judges, in person or in writing as required, including preparation of cases.
• Draft witness statements
• Management of applications to the Home Office.
• Liaise with Immigration Authorities, other agencies, and groups as required.
• Interview and advise clients regarding Immigration law, procedure, and practice. P
• Keep up to date at all time with changes in Immigration/Asylum law.

• Salary is in the range of £22,000-£24,000 depending on qualifications and experience
