Childcare Solicitor | Paralegal (Need to have run own caseload)

Highly regarded firm in Telford seeks a skillful Childcare Solicitor/ Paralegal on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an opportune time for a fee earning paralegal, solicitor, legal executive to join our client's thriving practice. The successful applicant will hit the ground running, providing high quality advice to public sector and not for profit clients on predominantly childcare matters, whilst managing a complex caseload.

Responsibilities

*Managing own caseload

*Taking client instructions

*Children's social care matters

*Childcare cases

*Children Act matters

*Liaising with and instructing witnesses

*Preparing cases for court

*Conducting legal research

*Drafting legal documents

*Building client relationships

The Candidate

*Fee earning paralegals, legal executives, solicitors with a minimum of one years' experience

*The firm will also consider trainees who are undertaking their last six months of a training contract and who have a genuine passion for public law children cases and have experience of running cases in this

*Solid experience in all aspects of childcare law is essential

*IT literate with the ability to manage your own caseload

*Possesses outstanding communication and client care skills

*Highly organised, able to meet tight deadlines

Salary £24,000 -£30,000
