A unique exciting new opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, self-driven solicitor (5+ years' PQE) to play a pivotal role in setting up a new department that focuses on financial mis-selling

We are looking for an experienced solicitor, preferably with post qualification experience of litigation in the fields of financial mis-selling and matters involving the Consumer Credit Act 1974. Here you will handle your own busy and dynamic caseload of litigated matters including professional negligence and contractual matters relating to financial services, together with support in other areas of claimant representation. You must be a strong litigator and be familiar with statutory legislation, CPR and the relevant case law.

Requirements

* You will have a litigation background and will be comfortable running a caseload of litigated files

* You will work well autonomously as well as part of a team

* Strong communications skills and excellent time management
