Legal Counsel (Permanent)

My Client is a well-established Asset Finance company in the who are seeking to recruit an In House Legal Counsel to help progress the department.

The successful Legal Counsel Solicitor will be working on legal matters, including litigation, reviewing, and advising on company contracts as well as trading agreements. You must be able to do this in conjunction with their compliance team and you will be required to learn the FCA's principle rules and regulations to have a good understanding of consumer credit.

The Role:

* Provide legal advice and guidance to the directors.

* Advising on business matters.

* Advising and prosecuting of defending lawsuits or legal rights and obligations.

* Analysing or interpreting laws, rules, and regulations.

* Researching and preparing cases

* Litigation work

* Drafting legal documents.

* Learning FCA rules, regulations, polices and rules.

* Amending, reviewing, and advising on company contracts and agreements

* Researching and preparing cases

* Collating evidence to formulate defence or to take legal actions

The candidate:

* Qualified Solicitor or Filex

* 4/5 years PQE

* Commercially minded with business development skills to support plans for growth and develop your own career.

* Excellent client service.

* Ability to build good relationships with clients, potential clients, and multipliers.

* Supervision Skills.
