Condition Monitoring Engineer

Location - Greater Manchester, Trafford, Warrington

Salary - circa £30 - 35k + pension + bonus + private health care + 25 days holiday

Hours - 7.30am - 4pm

The Person:

• Essential - Ideally 3 - 5 years experience in vibration analysis and reporting and condition monitoring.
• Manufacturing, heavy manufacturing, heavy engineering plant experience.
• Good CMMS knowledge / skills / experience (SAP, Maximo, etc).

Desirable:

• BINDT Qualifications eg Vibration
• Infrared Thermography
• Ultrasonics
• Lubricant analysis
• Balancing and laser alignment

If you do not have the desirable skills a selling point is the chance to gain these skills and learn from experienced Reliability Engineers.

The Job:

• Collect data from a large manufacturing site / plant. The site is modern, varied and very interesting / challenging.
• Analyse data
• Monitor system performance
• Working in a team of 3 - 5 people with reliability and condition monitoring engineers and technicians.
• Liaise with fitters and engineers.
• Diagnose faults.
• Liaise with planners / schedulers.
• Assist with shutdowns.
